Job Description

The Senior HRIS Analyst will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the organization’s Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to ensure efficient data management, seamless HR operations, and compliance with legal requirements. This individual will lead system configurations, troubleshoot issues, and maintain data integrity across various HR platforms, with a focus on ADP integrations. The Senior HRIS Analyst will also generate critical reports, support end-users, manage vendor relationships, and lead HRIS-related projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and process improvements.

This position requires a blend of strong technical expertise, project management leadership, and excellent interpersonal communication skills to support internal teams and enhance HR operations. The Senior HRIS Analyst will be responsible for identifying opportunities for process optimization, delivering training to end-users, and ensuring the smooth operation of HR systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HRIS System Management:
    • Manage and maintain HRIS systems (with a focus on ADP), ensuring system accuracy, data integrity, and compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
    • Oversee system configurations, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and support system enhancements.
    • Design and implement HRIS architecture and workflows to improve HR operations and processes.
    • Lead system upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to HR operations.
  • ADP Integrations and Reporting:
    • Lead the integration of ADP with other internal systems, ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization across platforms.
    • Develop, generate, and analyze reports from the HRIS to provide key insights into HR metrics, compliance, and operational efficiency.
    • Create custom reports for various HR functions, including benefits, compensation, payroll, and compliance tracking.
  • Project Management and Leadership:
    • Serve as the HRIS project leader, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications for system upgrades, new integrations, and process improvements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and improve system functionalities and ensure alignment with business objectives.
    • Identify opportunities for automation and workflow optimization to enhance HR efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Ensure that HRIS projects meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Manage relationships with HRIS vendors, including ADP, ensuring service-level agreements (SLAs) are met, and that vendor support is provided as needed.
    • Evaluate new technology solutions and make recommendations for system improvements or new software adoption.
    • Oversee vendor-related issues, system updates, and integration efforts to ensure the HRIS aligns with the organization’s strategic goals.
  • End-User Support and Training:
    • Lead end-user training sessions for HRIS systems, ensuring users are knowledgeable and comfortable navigating the systems.
    • Provide technical support to HR, payroll, and other end-users, addressing system-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Serve as the point of contact for user inquiries, system troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Compliance and Data Integrity:
    • Ensure that HRIS configurations are compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as organizational policies.
    • Conduct regular audits of system data to ensure accuracy and compliance with data retention and privacy policies.
    • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any system-related compliance risks.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify and recommend opportunities for improving HR workflows through the HRIS, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency, reducing manual processes, and improving user experiences.
    • Implement and monitor process improvements, ensuring they align with the organization’s HR strategy and operational goals.
Qualifications

  • Education or Certification in Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HRIS administration, with specific experience in ADP integrations, reporting, and project management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HRIS systems, with a proven track record of managing system configurations, troubleshooting, and data integrity management.
  • Experience with system design, architecture, and data migration.
  • Solid understanding of HR operations, including payroll, benefits, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in generating, analyzing, and presenting HRIS reports to support business decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience leading HRIS projects, including upgrades, integrations, and process improvements.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train, support, and engage with end-users.
  • Strong vendor management experience, with the ability to negotiate, manage, and maintain productive vendor relationships.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in leading system upgrades and major HRIS implementations.
  • Familiarity with ADP’s reporting tools, APIs, and system customization options.
  • Ability to identify and implement HR process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Certification in HR or IT-related fields (e.g., SHRM, PMP, or ADP-specific certifications) is a plus.

Base Salary: $85,00.00 to $105,000.00

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range. The actual base salary offered for this position depends on several factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Our base salary is one component of GNC’s competitive total rewards strategy.
