Lead Business Analyst - Ecommerce

Job Summary

The Lead Business Analyst, Ecommerce is responsible for spearheading the development of holistic business cases that encompass ideation, implementation and ongoing optimization that will drive ROI and enable Omni-Channel capabilities on GNC.com. This position will leverage its organizational agility to engage with internal business and technical partners to create business requirements. In turn, they will use these business requirements to aid in the selection of third party external partners. This includes competitive assessments and ongoing performance analysis, the analysis and incorporation of direct customer and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement, as well as development and execution of roadmaps.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead Ecommerce projects which support the overall GNC.com end-to-end experience, with direct accountability for the performance of GNC.com in meeting business goals and financial targets.
  • Become the Subject Matter Expert for initiatives post-launch and drive the optimization of the daily "Run the Business" processes.
  • Spearhead the creation and maintenance of the evolving Ecommerce roadmap in building requirement documents for third party service integrations supporting the GNC.com platform.
  • Engage with the GNC Merchandising team on requirements for marketplace support, supplier direct fulfillment and other GNC.com Ecommerce opportunities.
  • Use market research, customer feedback, and web analytic data to understand customer and business needs and identify new opportunities to define and periodically refine the Ecommerce roadmap.
  • Anticipate and understand industry and product trends, serving as an expert on Ecommerce capabilities and best practices, including analysis and documentation of competitor best practices.
  • Transform complex concepts into project charters with clearly defined requirements to optimize customer experiences.
  • Work with business, technical, and user experience stakeholders to manage Ecommerce development projects with an Omni-channel view.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Job Specifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required
  • Advanced degree (MBA, Master's) preferred
  • 6+years progressive Ecommerce experience required
  • Prior managerial/supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience with Ecommerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud preferred
  • High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
  • Ability to present complex business cases, ideas and strategies to Senior Level Management
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and Sr. Management across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
