CRM Analyst

Job Summary

Manage the activation of customer data to deploy effective targeted campaigns. Partner with internal stakeholders to utilize customer driven analytics to amplify channel marketing programs that tie to customer objectives.

  • Manage implementation of direct marketing campaigns including, but not limited to, list generation, customer targeting and activation based on channel engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on campaign production schedules, modify activity and notify stakeholders of relevant outcomes, fluctuations and plans.
  • Accurately deliver on approved test and learn campaigns to ensure measurement can be conducted by analytics team.
  • Advises internal resources on targeting capabilities based upon customer activation attributes.
  • Oversee quality control and ensure approvals are obtained on all appropriate activities.
  • Provide expense estimates and actual costs upon request.
  • Work with and help direct external vendors/agencies/partners as necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated proficiency with direct marketing principles, database marketing, customer contact strategy and systems and the design and implementation of CRM, loyalty and referral programs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficient in use of relational databases and query design to research, review and coordinate marketing data to address complex business questions.
  • Proficient in campaign management applications used to manipulate large datasets to execute programming based on customer and transactional level data.
  • Ability to produce on-time quality deliverables in a deadline driven environment while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Skilled in researching, reviewing and communicating results in non-technical terms to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Performs well in an environment with competing priorities and multiple projects
  • Proficient SQL is a plus

Job Specifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or related field, with 3+ years of experience in an data management/analytical role or an equivalent combination of education/experience

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the field of CRM/Direct Marketing in a retail setting
  • Demonstrated proficiency with direct marketing principles, database marketing, customer contact

strategy and systems and the design and implementation of CRM, loyalty and referral programs

  • Knowledge of CRM applications and tools
