Associate Brand Manager

The Associate Manager, Brand is responsible for executing brand management activities to support the success of assigned brands and consumer categories

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports the management, execution and delivery of plans and tactics to ensure the brand is positioned to grow topline and bottom line with the target consumer
  • Responsible for and/or supports one consumer segment of the total category
  • Supports the development of the brand and innovation strategy
  • Ensure brand priorities are executed
  • Supports the efforts to maximize brand appeal for consumer segment and to target consumers' needs and wants
  • Partners to develop, execute and work cross functionally on brand packaging, style guides and priorities of communication for category
  • Partners with Brand Leaders and cross functional partners to execution on innovation plans
  • Manages and supports campaigns to ensure brand consistency across all channels
  • Develop engaging brand educational materials and presentations
  • Present brands and products in compelling ways that will strengthen global brand awareness and sales
  • Responsible for company and specific category brand sales
  • Additional duties as assigned

Job Specifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required
  • Advanced degree (MBA, Master's) preferred
  • 5+ years progressive brand or marketing experience required
  • High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
