Job Summary:

Manage and oversee the activation of customer data to deliver effective and accurate customer campaigns across all channels. Partner with internal stakeholders to lead the executional process and implementation that delivers on the customer experience. Develop targeting and personalization framework that delivers on GNC’s strategic customer plans and maximize return on investment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and technical direction for customer activation including defining targeting rules, and processes, production timelines and ensure customer attributes and information is actionable.

  • Define roadmap for long-term Customer Marketing Operation needs. Responsible for development of a strong team that is detail oriented and strategic with data activation to support the growing demand for personalized experiences.

  • Manage the implement of targeted marketing tests including monitoring accuracy with data outputs that deliver on test and learn plans so that Customer Analytics can measure.

  • Oversee the usage, framework and requirements of the campaign management system and data needs that are required to meet the agreed upon channel experiences of the business.

  • Oversee reports and dashboards that provide insights into key programs and initiatives on an on-going basis.

  • Provide expense estimates and actual expense upon request.

  • Oversee external agency processes and data outputs that facilitate campaign deployment.

Job Specifications:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field, with 7+ years of experience in a data management/analytical role including experience in a leadership role.

  • At least 7+ years of experience in the field of CRM/Direct Marketing

  • Experience with relational marketing databases, proficiency with direct marketing principles, database marketing, customer contact strategy and system and the design implementation of CRM, loyalty and referral programs.

  • Retail Marketing experience a plus

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Advanced database marketing knowledge, direct marketing principles, design and implementation of CRM, loyalty and referral programs.

Excellent strategic and problem solving skills with proven ability to deliver actionable plans that drive increased revenue and return on investment.

Proficient with the use of relational databases and query design to research, review and coordinate marketing data to address complex business questions

Proficient in computer applications used to manipulate large datasets to analyze, test, validate and report customer and transactional level data.

Strong agency management skills; ability to direct and hold external partners accountable for deliverables

Strong relationship management skills; ability to collaborate with people at all levels throughout the organization

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Performs well in an environment with competing priorities and multiple projects
